Where is my tissue paper?

(Tissue paper, an important item after meal)

This morning, I had a good breakfast at Siang-Siang Corner. But, after I finished eating my favourite Sarawak Laksa, I was very upset because they did not provide us with tissue to wipe hands and mouth. It does not happen to me once, but many times. I think most of us might have encountered similar problem at other food courts in Kuching. One thing I hate the most after eating is that, when I had no choice but to use my fingers to wipe my mouth or nose (of course I washed my hands after that). Gross isn't it? But what choice do I have? Lucky for me, I keep tissue paper in my car.
Why can't they provide us with tissue paper? They are not expensive. Why didn't the authority impose the rule that food operators have to provide tissue paper? I demand an answer!

Yes You! I demand an answer!

Kopitiams don't provide tissue papers. Unless if you're dining in restaurants.

I always have tissue in my handbag. It's a neccessity to me.

in singapore, none of the food operators provide tissue. so it's kind of weird when we met few singaporean men bring pocket tissue with them when eating out in malaysia. it looked a bit sissy, but i think they are used to it.

They are so stingy or maybe do not have enough money to buy the tissue. Waahaha.

tissue is extra cost to them. otherwise they naikkan harga laksa sarawak just to cover that cost. hmm makes no sense

Yes.. I agree.. Hankies are a must at eateries. My car also has tissue paper, but I do not like keeping my mouth feeling oily till the car.

Ok, that is not something that has happened to me. I don't believe there is any food establishments in my city that do not provide paper tissues to their patrons. It really doesn't make sense why they wouldn't provide that basic necessity to their diners. I always keep tissues and hand sanitizer in my handbag.

I have a question regarding Tissue Paper..

I have TERRIBLE sinus issues..
Needless to say, tissue papers alone wont suffice so i usually settle with a roll of toilet paper. My colleagues would then come to me and sais "eeee.. You used toilet paper to wipe your nose"

:|

Arent toilet paper defined as tissue paper too?

Just a food for thought! ;)

have a good weekend Willie!

MeiTeng :Kopitiams should provide tissue paper right?

Nimi :Hello Nimi. If that's the case, I will have to bring my own tissue paper too.

Wenn :Hahaha..but I would rather use them.

Life :Me too.

Faizal : Kedekut lah sidak ya.

LadyViral :Most men don't bring tissue paper but their wives do.

MsTikot :Nang kedekut sidak ya.

CoffeeGirl :I think they should not think about profit only.

Manglish :Handkerchief can easily get dirty. Once it is dirty, i don't think i want to put it in my pocket.

Cyril :Yes. I agree with you.

HoneyBuzzin :Wah Bagusnya KK.

CheguCarol : Wah. So good ah your hubby.

Lina :You see? even your mamak stall can provide tissue.

Willie a.k.a Reptoz said...

CaLvB :Tissue don't cost so much what...hehehe

Rainfield :Yup, because we prefer disposable tissue. Once your handkerchief gets dirty, it is hard to bring it around.

BengBeng :Me too. My Mrs would bring it around.

Casper :hahaha...you make me feel guilty.

SJB :Don't imagine la...so shy...

Ivy :kalau diorang ada tisu, boleh lah mintak kan? Tapi kalau diorang takda, tu yg panas hati tuh.

Ida :Oh yeah. when going to the loo, tissue paper is female's best friend.

RoseBelle :IT is a reality here. The bad side of our eateries.

Krisno :Diorang memang kedekut.

Sunshine :Toilet paper is better than nothing. Hahaha
