Kuching Waterfront In the Morning

Can photography be my full-time profession? Hmm...let me think...I don't think so because my interest in photography is more on passion. I noticed that some people who take photography as purely a job will soon die out (just my 10 cent opinion, no need to argue la. Hahahah). But, this was also said by one of the professional photographer Elliot Landy. I think I agree with him (what we think was a coincidence not planned. Hehe) I need to be passionate about it. Take photos when I feel like it.

Last week, I went to Kuching Waterfront to see an exhibition. Many people took the photos of the exhibition. Me on the other hand, felt lazy but took photo of the waterfront instead because my heart was there. Here are some photos I took.
(people painting the cruise)
(The boat ride for public to cross the river)
(our local Dewan Undangan Negeri)

(this is my loyal assistant. Hehehe)

I am a person who photographs when I feel like it. Otherwise, it feels like I am being forced to shoot and somehow, my creative juices don't work.

The 1st picture where the guy is painting, i really thought it was an old picture like 50s - 70s. haha maybe coz of the shirt that he's wearing, i like it :D ya i do agree, some thing u just needed to do out of passion rather than necessity.

Dalam photography tok, very nice results hanya akan nampak if kita nang mena-mena passionate dengan apa yang kita molah. Even aku suka take pictures kerna passion.. bukan kerna biz ehek.

I haven't found a passion to take beautiful photographs like you yet. But I do enjoy it :). I only take pictures when I feel like it... I don't take when I am not inspired. Hard to take nice pictures when there isn't any inspiration.

Love the 2nd, 3rd and with photo :). Don't quite the like first... not sure why :/

Once the hobby becomes your profession, you are in trouble. Is it what you mean? LOL.

Willie, what city is this waterfront? It looks really beautiful. Gosh, sometimes I wish I can live at places like this with water and green scenery rather than cars and houses in the city. And you are right, if you are passionate about what you do, you do it no matter what. I always thought photography will remain hot with so many people taking pictures and posting on websites like Flickr and Photobucket.

RoseBelle > Kuching is part of Malaysia. waterfront is just a place to hang out in Kuching. Photography is something that is interesting to venture on.

You know.. the new DUN looks fantastic in real life, but in a photo.. it's odd.. It seems just so out of place.

At least I think so...
