Hehe..I know I know... the term 1 Malaysia is overused by many Malaysians since its introduction by our Prime Minister (not Optimus Prime). Everywhere, we will see people claiming to cook 1 Malaysia food, 1 Malaysia Cake, 1 Malaysia restaurant, 1 Malaysia Sales, bla bla bla bla until i want to puke... 1 Malaysia...all overused. But are they really 1 Malaysia? If yes, why is that in certain states, there are still racial and religious tensions? just recently...a group of emotional people chopped an innocent cow's head off and spit on it (insulting the Hindus) ? I feel sad when I heard about it. However, I will keep my fingers cross and pray and hope for better Malaysia.
Anyway..oops! I think I want to be 1 Malaysian too (I am shy now) . Although I am not a Chinese, but I like lantern festival. I bought some of the lanterns from our local store and gave them to my niece and son to play. They love it so much!

1M'sia is a good concept but unfortunately, how genuine is this thing remains to be seen. I really hate that M'sia Boleh slogan. Abused to smittereens.

Haiyah, since I was small I sudah 1 Malaysia oredi! Eat mooncake, play tanglung since small what! LOL
Wah.. moon cake month is coming..I love to eat it. Anyway, I have to agree with you that 1 Malaysia term has overused
I think our Prime Minister promote 1 Malaysia as unity is very important to build 1 nation (Not 1 Nation Emcee) with proud and dignity in the eyes of the world (macam lagu Ella he heh..)
DeeLoner > Good job. Well done!
Erolnukman > Oh terrer juak bapak u tok?
IvyMEtaga > Ku selalu juak meli kuih bulan.
MeiTeng > I saw the battery operated in our local store here.
Ivynana > Ya, memang best giler kan?
Lina > That's good for you.
CalVB > Very near indeed.
DesignationJazz > boring tengok one nation emcee.
Oh I love those laterns! I remember when I am young I always enjoy this paper laterns. I like them more than I like those plastic or those present days one with light and music that runs on battery.
But sadly, this paper laterns burns up quite fast if we do not pay attention to the candle.
Nice shots..
LadyViral > When I was a kid, my dad used to bring me out to see lanterns march in Limbang. It was great.
Krisno > Thanks
wow, I never really seen any latern march before.. I am sure it was tons of fun! With all the variety of colors of laterns... How nice ^-^.
I LOVE Moon cakes! Especially those with double egg yolks!!

I know! SO much for hitting the gym :P
Today, I finally felt the presence of ONE Malaysia with my latest encounter with an absolutely two thumbs up hospital. ^.^
I do believe Malaysia is growing, albeit slowly (:

Desmond > There's a trick behind it. Hehehea
I love lantern festival. It's a great celebration, so full of life and colors!
1Malaysia is overated. If you read the real meaning behind the 1Malaysia concept, you'd be surprised.
@Cyril: Overrated or not, I'm just glad I'm alive, surviving, and the medical world in Malaysia is advancing!
must be nice to see those lanterns
