Mothers' Day Celebration is being more commercialized today, encouraging people to celebrate it by spending their money at hotels, restaurants and even jewelry . However, personally, I don't mind celebrating mothers' day because I think it is fair that people are reminded of the sacrifices mothers made, especially when I become a father now, I realized my wife do work very hard to educate and nurture our son.
I celebrated it late because last Sunday, we were busy entertaining our parents. So Monday was our choice. I started by giving my wife a nice mothers' day card with wonderful words (from me) written on it. She happily received it and gave me a hug. After dinner, we went to Sunny Hill Ice-cream parlour. Mind you, they sell the best ice-cream in Kuching. My son, enjoyed the ice-cream very much.

While eating there, I saw a young couple sitting there doing PDA (public Display of Affection) .They were holding hands, looked as if they wanted to kiss, each other touching and mooching each other...Yaikkss! Get a room!!.... They didn't realize that there was a CCTV there, right above them. Geee... Well...we left the place satisfied.
Then, my wife suggested we go to 7th mile airport to see the planes since, our son loves planes very much. I agreed to that and spent around 30 minutes there telling our son about planes. Many other people were there too, with their families. Maybe they were all celebrating mothers' day there. Hehehe..Just like me.

Hello Willie, thank you for adding me onto your list. I just realised that.
Ah! Sunny Hill Ice-Cream, I used to eat ice-cream there as well many years ago. I bet they are still as good. Hope the price hasn't increased much.
I do agree that mother's day is very commercialised these days. Well, corporates want to earn money out of customers gullibility.
