Yes, what about Polo brand? Polo brand has been trying to portray itself as an English product (with people on horse playing golf) and also a high quality product. I must say that this brand has managed to capture many Malaysian consumers although the brand is a bit pricey. I was one of them. Hehehe.

This polo watch I bought for Rm100++ was also damaged after a year usage.
And this Polo belt which i bought for RM99 after discount was also damaged after 3 months.
See...disappointing right?

This morning, I was reading this paper and I am surprised that most Malaysians today are becoming more open, outspoken and resort to picket and street demonstrations. Our people have changed, I guess, and I wonder what causes this change. However, I do not want to comment more...It is up to individual to think and some people might not be happy with me Ii I say anything. Hahaha
And...this is not the only case...remember the case, attacking Sultan Perak's vehicle, trying to sue the Sultan by Karpal Singh, picketing by the residents of .... at the developer, Street demonstration about Datuk Sri Annuar's case, the boycott of Parliment meeting by the oppositon parties etc...
Anyway, in Malay words, "pandai pandailah bawa diri kan? " Ahaks! I raise my case...

I am sure that in the modern society, with $$$$$ In mind, most of the branded stuff don't last long. I am sure we are only paying for brand name.
I was in Savannah, USA and its really open my eyes on the world of things. Why! basically the things sold is cheap even branded stuff. for example, a pair of L---s jean in Malaysia cost > RM 350 but in US i bought for USD21 which translated in RM is about 84.

I stopped buying things for the sake of their 'name' since I faced the same situation. Don't know why but the cheap products last longer^^. however, I still buy branded goods occasionally ^^. Can't help it

Most of branded stuff nowadays mahal becoz of the name.. and not the quality. I think reason becoz pengeluarannya terlalu byk sampei sikda agik dah quality control on this stuff.

Hi Bro do not look for the brand of the product, try to check the quality of it, it does not matter to pay abit more for a good quality product it, see I got my camel belt for RM 270 since 1999 til now, almost everyday I am using it, that the only belt I have. it cost me RM27/year. ha ha.....ha.....ha.....
I am just not into brands at the moment - I mean when buying things. Yeah... I do admire the way the branders brng up the name and reputaion of their product. Just say Nokia or Sony or Mercedes... people will say Waaaahhhh... even our wallet say Waaahhhh coz then it will be hungru coz there is no money in it.... so at the moment I can only Waaah at the briend but I cannot afford it.
