Are babies blessings?

A few days ago, I blogged about the lost of my good friend, Mr Ratino. A photo of him was posted in my friend's facebook and there were a lot of comments made by facebook users on him. Counting the comments, it seems that facebook is more popular than blogging, which explains why it contains many advertisements. What happen to friendster anyway? It used to be a popular networking website before right?

Have you ever heard of a quite popular saying that says "people come and people go". To some of us right now, we might be feeling remorse or in the midst of mourning for someone whom we have just lost. But to some people, they are now celebrating someone new into the family.

These two are my colleagues and I must thank them for their willingness to pose for me. Natalie came back to work last month, after she safely delivered her third baby and Stephanie is waiting to deliver her first baby. These two moms, right now, are among the happiest moms on earth right now.

But, on the other hand, we are hearing reports saying that young moms dumped their babies on the street. I seriously condemn those mothers! I do not think that babies deserve to die for their parents' sinful act.

The government of Melacca had just announced they will allow, schoolchildren age 14-18 to get married and have babies. The government will open a special school for pregnant students to complete their studies and will give RM500 to them to perform the holy matrimony if they are poor. They said by doing this, it will reduce the divorce rate, the number of single mothers and immoral activities among students.

Nevertheless, this ruling had created an uproar among many parents because they think that children are not ready financially, emotionally and mentally to manage a family. Don't you think it is a waste of public fund to build a special school too? But oh well...I let you decide and think yeah?

Astaga!! Apa dah jadi dengan those people, married at that very young age is never a good thing. Imagine they get married at 14 years old and they have children, they themselves not even matured enough yet, what more to take care of their own children and family, my goodness!! I can only foresee a negative things from that, first there will be more kes dera because their feeling is not maturely stable, second, akan menyusahkan mak bapak because they still didn't have enough income to sara family (RM500 I don't think enough) and third, will be more divorce because as they grow they will live their life in bigger picture and many more new things they will come across, that young age is still main main punya age la haiya those people.....

MySpace and Friendster used to be two popular social media networks until Facebook came along. I don't have an account on any of them. Blogging is much better in my opinion.

People do come and go but the ones that you remember most are the ones that left an imprint in your heart.

Wenn :I agree with you.

AmirFx :Benar. Sikda duit camney mok nyara keluarga. Tol sik?

Pete :Yes. It will lead to stress and higher divorce rate.

Kaljis :nang susah. Semua didikan atang ari umah.

Rodz :Rm500 is just for the holy matrimony. Bukan elaun sara hidup.

Rosebelle :YEah. I didn't have friendster account too. Blogging is more to leisure reading. People tend to post photos in FB.

Sigh.... afterall it's parents' fault that didn't take enough initiative to care and pay attention to their children... which eventually lead into despair!

Cheers and have a nice day!

babies are blessing but it comes with great responsibilities

an early marriage is not the solution to curb social ill. Troubled teenagers should be provided with counsellings and a chance to redeem themselves. Even adults can't all deal with the responsibilities of marriage, what more a 14 year old.

If we push this through, what we may gain can be a higher divorce rate and more neglected children. :(

Life and death is a cycle that repeats.

Babies don't have the luxury to decide whether they be born or not. The parents are responsible. If parents decide to have babies, then they better well appreciate and love them and see them as blessings. Otherwise, why bother to have kids?

teens are still too young to get married. If this is encouranged means the teens will only think of getting married just to have sex....so then...what happened if they had babies? what happen if at certain point in their lives they decided they don't love each other?

then they will start complaining that the divorce rate among young people is alarming...*sigh*

In a strange way, they're those who desperate want babies but can't & they're those who have but don't want..Perhaps the baby hatcher programme might save those unwanted babies

Norris :But blogging has its own group of followers too.

AliceLaw :Yes. Great responsibilities are on the shoulders of the parents. I am taking care of my own kids now and I will not depend on others to educate my kids.

Ayie :Yes. Agree.

Lina :That's very true. I seriously think the ruling will fail.

Willie a.k.a Reptoz said...

MeiTeng :Yeah. Babies are at the mercy of parents.

IvyMetaga :Bah cepat gik kawen. Hahaha

AngelBear :That's true.

Eugene :Very young indeed

Rob :Really? I have never heard of that programme before.

i wouldnt mind with the introduction of Baby Hatch Centres to help minimize baby dumping. But a school for school going girls who got pregnant and later allow to get married while still under age? Errr...i just don't think it sounds apt.
