Filipino Market

Filipino market is a famous place for selling wet stuff such as vege and fish. It also sells fresh seafood. I talked to a local when I was in Kota Kinabalu on why it is called a Filipino market. According to him, there used to be Filipino traders there but today, it is occupied by local traders. The concept of seafood meal is that, you get to choose what seafood you want to eat and pay accordingly.
(They use a long table. Free seating)
(The seafood is BBQ on the spot)
(Wide selection of seafood. Fish, lobsters, Cuttlefish, and crabs)

I like visiting markets in place I travel to.

I visited the Patong Market briefly but missed out on seeing the souvenirs as the place was not open yet and I didn't have time to wait around as I have a flight to catch.

this is what I miss back home! We like to go to this kind of place when we want fresh seafoods and eat it right there, buy and have them cook it the way we want.

Oh, yes, this is a typical Filipino market. We can't eat with just one or two dishes on the table, hehee!
