Fishing is an occupation that can never be ceased as we need fish for food. During my stay in Kota Kinabalu, I took time to observe people who make their living through fishing. The boats seen at Kota Kinabalu sea made the place looks lively and beautiful. Unlike KK, Kuching is just located near the river (Sarawak River) and has been labelled as polluted. by the government Furthermore, the river is not blue like in KK (hehehe...of course la...it's a sea! What am i talking about?)

I have a high respect for people of the sea... they work real hard so that people like us who seldom fish will be able to get a good brain food with omega 3. Haha Nice pictures as always ^^
bestnya, rasa mcm nak pegi sekarang gak ke kk, teringat first time pegi kk last 7 years, mmg tertarik hati
i hope the ppl of KK maintain the cleanliness and their livelihood...=)
Wow blue water~
With rain lately, it would be hard for them to go to sea right? Must really thank them for their hard work :).
Luv the scenery....kesian sekarang musim hujan kan...
DanielChiam :YEs. They work hard. It ain't easy to catch a fish.
CTNoramiza :Cepat ler booking Air Asia. Hahaha
Manglish :I hope so.
Gallivanter :The corals are dead? This is bad...
LadyViral :Yes. it is a hard job.
only in Kuching the water is murky. that's why i dont really like to swim at Kuching's beaches. layan blues tepi pantai bole la.
a fishing boat.. in the middle of the sea.. nice! better than being in da middle of a river.. blek..
Reason becoz fishing is part of punca pencarian yang penting di sinun ba. Memang kacak laut KK nun.. that's why banyak ikan. Also, I heard seafood murah2 jak sinun hoh XD
nice shots!
I would not be able to appreciate fishing because I don't have the patience for it.
Yeap they still have blue sea in KK. Sayang, our river in Kuching is like tea-c. It makes me dislike touring along the Kuching Waterfront, as I can smell the "unpleasant" smell from the river. :p
Btw, nice pics you have here. Have great weekend.
ohh.silau sungguh...
Yes KK water is blue and clean...
hey willie, i think you really can take very very good photos, so sharp and so inviting,, kudos bro

save the rivers now, before the rivers also go extinct
semua sungai di sarawak macam ia. everybody know why??? d sibu sg merah jadi sg hitam.
Sea is a great treasure to us. It provides us a living.

I have a few friends whose family is in the fishing business and the stories that they tell me really make me appreciate their hard work. It's hard and long work, risky too. Nice pix you posted up btw. I've never seen clear or blue ocean water before...would love to some day.
