Sarawak, in particular is very famous for its traditional food that is cooked by using natural pots such as bamboo and pitcher plants. Because of this, Sarawak Forestry and local council allocated and created bamboo and pitcher plant park for visitors and tourists to see. In my kampung, many people cook meat in bamboo - they call it "pansuh" and after harvesting season, some will cook rice in the pitcher plants.

I've eaten sticky rice cooked in this pitcher plant, nyaman because it absorbed the natural smell of the plant. ada mood nak makan. tapi kecik jak lah.
