Long Makabar

A year ago, my bro. in-law, was posted to one of the remote schools in Sarawak, Long Makabar, Marudi. He showed me his photos and told me that, he really enjoyed the life there. Who wouldn't enjoy it when you received extra RM1500 from your salary and when your students are only six? He didn't plan to move out in near future.

Enjoying the bath at Makabar river.

School assembly. Can you see how small the number is?

The view of Long Makabar

The offroad. 8 hours to Long Makabar.

Yes, nice river. Tapi, would take him ages to enjoy driving, that is, if he bought a new car. ( the roads dont look very user-friendly)

Yeah, your brother-in-law is indeed very fortunate. He was posted to a remote school that has only 6 students. He is earning RM1,500.00 more to his real income. Besides enjoying that addition, he also enjoys the beauty and serene life in remote village. I envy him.

yeah, extra 1500 and spend almost nothing cause in there doesnt have any shopping complex. It would take forever to travel to miri and to go to Marudi, nothing much there even though I love it there cause it was my home town.:)

Looking at Baram view make me miss home...
