Yeah...you heard me. I'm no fool! I hate those credit card scammers. They think I do not know their tricks? Well, let me share you a story.
Few weeks ago I received a few phone calls from private and personal numbers. He or She claimed that she's from a credit card company who would like to check on the security of my credit card. As the conversation went on, he/she started asking
a. Which bank is my credit card from?
b. Is it a visa or Mastercard?
c. What's the credit card number?
d. What's the expiry date?
e. And finally, what's the last three digits number?
Sounds like, he's making an online purchase right?
When I was called for the first time, I gave the answers to a,b,c,d. I almost got cheated. But then, when the person started to ask for my last three digits number, I refused and he/she was upset! Hahahah!
I then called up the credit card centre complaining to them about this. The real credit card officer told me that a credit card company will not call its customers to check on their credit card. Whalla!
But the thing was...where did they get my phone numbers and my name? Did my forms that I filled in somewhere before fell into the wrong hands? or did someone from the credit card company stole my information?
p/s: What would you do if you were called? Will you play around with them by giving them fake numbers? Hahaha!

I always wonder how they get our numbers. From Telco? From service providers? Well, somebody must be raking in selling our numbers. :(
Whenever people call me abt my credit card, I always say that if they are from the Bank, they should have my details and not ask me to repeat them again. Then, I'll hang up. XD
that's absolutely right. No credit card companies or banks will ever ask for your pin numbers. They don't conduct security check as such at all.
only a fool will answer all those questions.
org xda kad kredit
hehe
nasib baik,
kalo x?
org mesti jujur gila jwb tu
org ni kadang2 blh jadi pembaris
sgt lurus!
hukhukhuk
I have caller ID on my house phone. I don't pick up when the number is not recognizable. There's a lot of scams going on everywhere. Recently I saw there was a charge on my cc statement that was not made by me. I called the company and filed a fraud transaction. I have no idea how the thief got a hold of my cc info and made a purchase with it.
mun aku asal number pala 03 ka private ka mmg ku sik jawap..ehehehe...

i once got someone calling and talkin gin mandarin then i answered in english telling her i completely cant speak mandarin hahahahaha
i heard that companies offering bonus points that we subscibe too are the ones selling our information. Sometimes, its not the company, but some worker in the company whom has access to their database, and was trying to make a quick buck.
