Sarawak Bloggers

Meeting fellow bloggers is something that I can hardly commit due to work and family commitments. However, once I am able to do it, it will be wonderful. I think blogging is fun and interesting especially when we are able to meet up with the blog authors face to face.

During the Thalgo Seminar, I shared some views on Sarawak Bloggers to Cyril. I told him that, starting a Sarawak Bloggers group is indeed a good idea because we can be the alternative online media for Sarawakians. At least people have more choices on what to read right?. There are many other websites on Sarawak created by other groups of people but so far, not by bloggers. I sincerely believe that Sarawak Bloggers can be a platform for everybody who love writing to make their blogs known and acknowledged by the society. Furthermore, Sarawak bloggers will be able to unite all the bloggers and to become a strong media group. Recently, I am proud of Desmond Jerukan. His blog was read by our Prime Minister and heinvited him for a dinner in KL.

I would like to propose to those interested to join Sarawak Bloggers or who are already in Sarawak Bloggers group to take care of their ethics in writing because I personally think that we need to take care the good image of Sarawak Bloggers. Oh well, enough said, allow me to show you the candid photos of these two Spring Ambassadors I met personally.

  2. I think all bloggers should keep in mind blogging etiquette and ethics. I've read quite a handful of posts that were just classless and mean spirited. You mentioned a very good point here.

  3. he shot of Yomi here. Really nice.

And yes, I agree on the point that bloggers need to be ethical on their writing. That's why, in Sarawak Bloggers we have put up a page for blogging ethics, and we always encourage bloggers to be ethical.

There is a need to build a good relationship among bloggers and people around us. :-)
